The Oklahoma City Summer Classic Dog Shows return to Cox Convention Center June 19-23, 2013.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $2 for children 12-17 and $5 for seniors age 60 and over. Children who have not yet reached their 12th birthday are admitted free.
FreeOK is Oklahoma’s only freethought convention. This fun and educational day features a series of lectures on topics related to freethought and its community from known freethinkers of various backgrounds.

The 46th Annual Oklahoma Career and Technology Education Summer Conference is scheduled August 1-2, 2013 at the Cox Convention Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This conference is the major professional development activity for Oklahoma CareerTech teachers, counselors, administrators and state staff. Participants will learn innovative technical and instructional skills. They will also have the opportunity to network with and learn from their counterparts throughout the state.
The CareerTech Expo is held in conjunction with the conference. The exposition is a valuable resource to CareerTech educators, featuring over 150 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest products and services available in the career and technology education field!
Last year OneHealthyBod, LLC. hosted the Oklahoma City Classic at the Cox Convention Center on August 4. This event included body building, figure, men's physique and bikini classes as well as Oklahoma's largest CrossFit competition. More than 300 competitors and 2000 supporters attended the event and the entries had to be capped due the overwhelming excitement of the event reaching capacity.
The turnout was so great that this year we are grouping under OneHealthyBod Fitness Expo. Instead of one exhibit hall there will be three, expanding the space to 55,000 square feet. This grand area will be home to numerous vendors and sponsors.
The events will be the Oklahoma City Classic, Red Dirt CrossFit, and USALP Powerlifting Championship.
We are expected to have over 800 competitors and 10,000 supporters through the door this year and are very excited about continued growth.

The Conference 2013 presented by the Oklahoma State School Boards Association and Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration will be held on August 23 - 25, 2013 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
This annual Fall event is the largest trade show in the state of Oklahoma and the most important event for foodservice and hospitality industry professionals. Many changes are in store this year, including a restyled floorplan and exciting new educational seminars and mixology demonstrations. The show features hundreds of exhibits, a new location for the opening night party, the ever-popular Oswalt Culinary Cook-off, and over 6,000 industry attendees.
The Oklahoma City Barons, in partnership with the Edmonton Oilers, have scheduled an NHL Preseason Game in Oklahoma City for Friday, Sept. 27. The NHL Showcase presented by Mercy features the Dallas Stars against the Barons' parent club, the Edmonton Oilers.
The preseason contest between the Oilers and Stars is the first of a unique promotions calendar for the Oklahoma City Barons. Shortly after the preseason game, the team’s home opener follows. The Barons also announced that the largest promotion in Oklahoma sports history will continue.
’Drive Away Every Saturday” gives one lucky fan the opportunity to win a new car just by coming to a Barons game every Saturday night during the regular season. Last season, the Barons gave away over $400,000 worth of automobiles & accessories. The vehicles included a Cadillac CTS Coupe, a Dodge Challenger, a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford F-150.
This is the fourth NHL preseason game to be played in Oklahoma City. The first featured the Dallas Stars against the St. Louis Blues in September 1995. The second pitted the St. Louis Blues against the Boston Bruins in September 1997. The most recent was the Los Angeles Kings against the Phoenix Coyotes in October 2002. Oklahoma City hosted a regular season NHL game in 1992 when the New York Islanders took on the Oilers in a neutral site contest.
